Day 1 : Toronto
Cairo
Depart Toronto for Cairo via Paris.
Day 2 : Cairo
Upon your arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your
hotel.
Day 3 : Cairo
Full-day tour of Memphis, Saqqara and the Giza Plateau
including the wondrous Pyramid of Khufu, the oldest of the seven
wonders of the Ancient World, and the mighty Sphinx. Stop at the
Papyrus Institute on the way back. B/L/D
Day 4 : Cairo Aswan Abu Simbel
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Aswan. Take a
felucca along the Nile around Elephantine Island and visit the
botanical gardens on Kitcheners Island. Late-morning departure
for Abu Simbel by motor coach. Embark on the cruise vessel and
have lunch while cruising Lake Nasser. Afternoon visit to the
temples of Abu Simbel, Ramses II and Nefertari, followed by a
sound and light show in the evening. Welcome cocktail and
overnight on board. B/L/D
Day 5 : Abu Simbel Wadi es-Sebua
Navigate to Wadi es-Sebua and admire the ruins of Qasr Ibrim
along the way. Afternoon visit to the Temple of Amada, Temple of
Deir and Tomb of Peinout. At night, the temples at Wadi es-Sebua
are illuminated for approximately one hour. B/L/D
Day 6 : Wadi es-Sebua Aswan
Tour Wadi es-Sebua, also known as the Valley of the Lions.
Visit the Temple of Dakka, dedicated to Thoth, and the Greco-
Roman temple of Meharakka en route to Aswan. B/L/D

Day 7 : Aswan
Tour Kalabsha, temple dedicated to the Nubian sun god Mandulis.
This is the second most important sanctuary after the Temple of
Abu Simbel. Visit the Temple of Ramses II at Beit el-Wali and the
Kiosk of Qertassi. Disembark the cruise vessel for hotel checkin
before noon. Afternoon visit to the Nubian Museum. B/L/D
Day 8 : Aswan
Cross the Nile to discover the tombs of the Elephantine
governors and dignitaries. After noon at leisure to explore the
colourful spice souk. At night, enjoy the light and sound show at
the Temple of Philae. B/L/D
Day 9 : Aswan Kom Ombo Edfu
Visit Aswans surroundings, including the overview of Aswans
High Dam. Then tour the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess
Isis, wife of Osiris and mother of Horus. Embark on your cruise
vessel in the afternoon for travel to Kom Ombo. Visit the Temple
of Kom Ombo, whose unique doubledesign houses, courts, halls,
sanctuaries and rooms were duplicated for the crocodile god Sobek
and the falcon god Haroeris. Afterwards depart for Edfu. B/L/D
Day 10 : Edfu Esna Luxor
In the morning, take a horse-drawn carriage to one of the
best-preserved temples in Egypt, the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to
the god Horus. Pass the Esna Lock en route to Luxor. Enjoy a
traditional meal and attend a galabia themed party. B/L/D
Day 11 : Luxor
Discover the west bank of the Nile and City of the Dead. Visit
the Valley of the Kings and Temple of Medinet Habu, and admire the
Colossi of Memnon on the boat ride back. In the afternoon, explore
the east bank of the Nile and City of the Living. Tour the Temples
of Luxor and Karnak, formerly bound by a sphinx-lined approach.

Day 12 : Luxor Cairo
Disembark the cruise vessel and transfer to the airport for
your flight to Cairo. Tour the Egyptian Museum, home to 120,000
ancient Egyptian antiquities, visit and discover the treasure room
of Tutankhamens tomb. After noon tour of Islamic Cairo, the
Saladin Citadel and Mosque of Mohamed Ali, followed by leisure
time to shop in the popular souk of Khan el-Khalili. Transfer to
hotel. B/L/D
Day 13 : Cairo Toronto
Transfer to the airport for your return flight to Toronto via
