ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS DURING COMPLETION OF ONLINE PURCHASES
CONSTITUTES PART OF
YOUR CONTRACT FOR TRAVEL RELATED SERVICES
PURCHASED VIA WORLD TRAVEL WAREHOUSE
World Travel Warehouse
in its capacity (hereafter referred to as the “agency”) is acting
in the role of Agent for
numerous travel
industry
product suppliers
(identified on your
accompanying
travel
documents) in selling
travel related services or in accepting reservations or bookings
for services. These services,
and travel products are
not directly owned
by this travel agency
(such as Air and Ground Transportation, Hotel Accommodations,
Cruises, etc.)
Agreement Between the User and World Travel Warehouse
World Travel Warehouse Web site is presented to you under the
terms and conditions set out in this document. By using this site,
or completing reservations via World Travel Warehouse booking
software, your consent is implied via your reservation completion.
For example, we can only deliver the product you have purchased if
you provide us with your address.
Links to
Third Party Sites
World Travel Warehouse website contains links to the Web sites of
other companies or suppliers. These sites are in no way endorsed,
nor controlled by World Travel Warehouse. We only suggest and
offer these links to various suppliers as further information
which we hope will assist you in making your travel purchases from
suppliers we support. We cannot guarantee the content contained on
affiliate or supplier sites in any way. These links are provided
for your convenience and information only. You may use them for
reference or not, at your discretion.
Reservations
Reservations are subject to space
availability in the appropriate class, at the time of booking. Each
time you make an online reservation through World Travel Warehouse
electronic booking software, confirmation via email will occur
immediately. If you do not receive this email confirmation, please
contact us to confirm that your reservation with the specific
supplier was indeed completed. In the event that your travel plans
are modified or changed due to mechanical, weather, or carrier
business conditions, World Travel Warehouse will contact you to
inform you of these disruptions.
Group
Bookings
All group reservations may be requested by phone or by sending an
email. Group bookings may not be booked electronically. Definition
of a group may be subject to terms and conditions determined by
each individual supplier.
Payments
Forms of payment are various major credit
cards (normally Visa, Mastercard, Amex).
Credit
card bookings
Your authorization to use your Credit Card number indicates your
acceptance of our booking terms and conditions, whether or not you
have actually signed the appropriate draft.
Chargebacks will be levied a fee of $50 per passenger
Ticketing
As E-Tickets are the industry standard commencing January 2008,
all documentation will be in the form of electronic documents. If
you prefer to receive paper tickets (which must be couriered),
these courier costs will be paid by the client accordingly.
Acceptance
The acceptance of tickets and or vouchers shall be deemed to be
consent to the above conditions.
CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
All requests for refunds must be made in writing to World Travel
Warehouse (email written format is acceptable). All cancellations
are subject to a $50 administrative charge plus any applicable
airline & supplier cancellation charges.
Pricing
All prices quoted are in Canadian or American funds (as noted
throughout our site), depending on the
gateway & supplier. Prices are subject to supplier's terms and conditions and
also subject to change without notice.
Taxes
and Surcharges
Airport and other departure taxes, as well as Canadian/US
transportation taxes and surcharges are subject to change at any
time.
Flight
Times
Schedules are subject to change without notice.
It is therefore
the responsibility of passengers to reconfirm flight times prior
to departure. The Agency and Supplier assumes no responsibility to the passenger for any loss, delay, or other inconveniences incurred in
connection with any flights. All passengers must reconfirm the
minimum check in time at the airport with the airline prior to
departure.
Liability
Every effort is made to ensure the information provided on the
World Travel Warehouse site is accurate and free of errors.
Changes are made to the site on an ongoing basis to improve the
site. That said, the World Travel Warehouse Web site is not
intended as a source of personal, or legal information. Users
should consult the appropriate embassy, consulate or government
department for information related to
the specific country you will be visiting.
You assume total responsibility
and risk for your use of the site and the Internet. World Travel
Warehouse provides the site and related information "as is"
and does not make any express or implied warranties,
representations or endorsements whatsoever with regard to the
service, any merchandise information or service provided through
the service or on the internet generally. World Travel Warehouse
shall not be liable for any cost or damage arising either directly
or indirectly from any such transaction made outside of World
Travel Warehouse direct transactions. It is solely your
responsibility to evaluate the accuracy, completeness and
usefulness of all opinions, advice, services, merchandise and
other information provided through the service or on the Internet
generally.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
In no event shall World Travel
Warehouse or third party distributors or providers be liable for
any injury, loss, claim, damage or any special, exemplary,
punitive, incidental or consequential damages of any kind
(including but not limited to lost profits or lost savings),
whether based in contract, tort or otherwise, which:
(a) arises out of or is in any way connected with any use of this
site or content found herein;
(b) any failure or delay (including but not limited to the use of
or inability to use any component of this site for reservations
request, information inquiries or any other content obtained
through this site);
(c) the performance or non performance of World Travel Warehouse
or third party distributors or providers, even if such party has
been advised of the possibility of such damages by other party.
If, notwithstanding the foregoing, World Travel Warehouse or any
third party provider or distributor should be found liable for any
loss or damage which arises out of or is in any way connected with
any of the above described functions or uses of this site or its
content, World Travel Warehouse and third party provider and
distributor's liability shall in no event exceed, in the
aggregate, the subscription fee and service charge for accessing
this site with respect to which liability is found.
This agency, therefore,
will
not be held
responsible for breach of contract or any intentional or
careless actions or omissions on the part of such suppliers, which
result in any loss, damage, delay, or injury to you or your
companions or group members. Unless the term
“Guaranteed” is specifically stated in writing on your tickets,
invoice or reservation itinerary, we do not guarantee any of such
suppliers’ rates, bookings, reservations, connections, scheduling,
or handling of personal effects.
**We ALWAYS
recommend travel insurance as the best way to secure your travel
purchase. With numerous airlines and Tour Operator's declaring
bankruptcy in this erratic economy, we strongly suggest you
consider Travel Insurance as the best method to insure your travel
investment is safe**
Agency shall not
be responsible for any injuries, damages or losses caused to any
traveler in connection with terrorist activities, social or labour
unrest, mechanical or construction failures or difficulties,
diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, abnormal conditions or
developments, or any other actions, omissions, or conditions out
side the travel agent’s control. Agency shall further not be
responsible for losses incurred due to supplier insolvency, and
urge all travelers to take the necessary
precautions and purchase Travel Insurance.
Traveler assumes complete and full responsibility for, and hereby
releases the agent from, any duty of checking and verifying any
and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements
of each destination, and all safety and security conditions of
such destinations, during the length of the proposed travel.
By embarking upon his/her journey, the traveler voluntarily
assumes all risk involved in such travel, whether expected or
unexpected. Traveler is hereby warned of the above risks as well
as possible travel industry supplier bankruptcies and medical and
climatic disruptions, and is advised to obtain appropriate
insurance coverage against them, which is available for additional
costs through World Travel Warehouse. Traveler’s acceptance of tickets,
reservations, or bookings accompanying this document shall
constitute the traveler’s consent to the above and an agreement on
his/her part to convey the contents hereto to his/her travel
companions or group members.
Cancellation &
Refund Policies:
World Travel Warehouse and our
certified travel counsellors always source the best suppliers to
fit each of our clients particular needs.
As such, we are obligated to adhere to each supplier's unique
cancellation and refund policies, per supplier's terms and
conditions. As part of your travel purchase, we encourage you to
read your travel supplier's contract in its entirety. Please
contact us if you have any questions at all about your contract
with the travel supplier you have purchased from.
We remind our clients that the sole responsibility lies with the
traveller, to ensure that they have fully read, met and complied
with all terms and regulations as set forth by the specific
supplier the client chooses. The
duty of checking and
verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry
requirements of each destination, and all safety and security
conditions of such destinations, during the length of the proposed
travel remains the final
responsibility of the individual traveler.

Steps covered when
working with World Travel
Warehouse Inc.
1. We receive our client's
inquiry by phone, e-mail or website Contact Us form. For online
bookings, we will follow up with confirmations of your booking.
2. We follow up with a FREE initial consultation
(up to 1 hour) via
email or phone (a
series of questions for our client to help us determine your
interests, travel budget, likes or dislikes with past vacations,
destinations or accommodations. This information allows us to
narrow the possible recommendations which will best suit your
tastes).
3. We send our prospective clients our trip request contract
which notes our services provided and associated service costs
for review.
4.
Upon receipt of completed forms
from
our clients, we will
follow up again with you based on your noted preferences, and to
clarify any additional questions.
5. Depending on our client's preferences and desired tour style,
we will confirm with our clients the chosen tour, tour operator
and review any applicable terms and conditions to ensure our
client's are fully aware of the complete details of their
purchase, as well as receive deposits to secure our client's
booking and reservation.
6.
Once the tour operator has
confirmed your space, we send you a confirmation and welcome
email which details all pertinent info as well as any follow up
dates that might be critical to your travel plans.
Our goal is to make sure our client's are always well-informed
with regular status updates and information relevant to each
client's particular itinerary.
7. Anywhere from 60 to 45 days prior to your actual departure
from your home city, we will make our final request for payment
to the supplier of choice, and again go over any necessary
questions or details each client may have.
8. Once final payment is confirmed and processed, we will
prepare and issue your full set of travel documents which
includes a detailed itinerary, hotel & location contact details
to leave behind for family or friends (in case of emergencies),
brochures for the properties where they are staying, details of
all tours included, restaurant recommendations (where
applicable), and plenty of other relevant information we know
will help you make the most of your trip.
9. Shortly before your trip, we will follow up again to ensure
there aren't any last minute questions (there often are!) and of
course, wish you a wonderful journey!
10. Upon your return, we follow up with a post-trip short survey
to see how everything went.

Initial consultation:
Complimentary (1 hour maximum)
Package Customization or Independent Itineraries: Due to
the amount of time we dedicate to creating your customized packages, or
independent itineraries, we require a
refundable (in most cases*) $100/person
deposit to continue working on your booking (after the initial
consultation). Deposit will be refunded upon reservation
confirmation.
*For non-commissionable bookings, this deposit will be retained
as our fee for services rendered. We will advise you upfront
whether the fee will be deemed refundable or not.

- seat selection, meal selection aboard International flights
- special request requiring contact with hotels
- arranging any upgrade requests for Honeymoon/Anniversary
